Lily works on August nights, handing out flyers for a bar in the streets of Madrid. Lily appears to be something she´s not. Lily is strong and independent. Lily has lots of friends. Lily is not happy. Lily wants to have children. Lily is alone. Lily is hot. Lily drinks a lot. Lily is an architect. Lily is about to turn thirty. Lily misses hugging someone when she sleeps. During one of those nights, so many things will happen that we'll have to post the whole script on our blog so that everybody can read and download it. The next morning, Lily bakes a cake and heads to her parent´s house for lunch, as if nothing had happened.
What stage are we in?
We have scheduled the film shoot into three blocks, with a two month pause after each block for logistic purposes. We have a small team and an even smaller budget. We have now completed shooting the first block as a result of which we now have half an hour of edited material. In September we will schedule the second block of shooting, re-structure the technical team, seek locations and start rehearsing to begin shooting again in November. The cast is formed by unknown actors who have either recently graduated from drama school or have worked in the theatre all their life having small parts in series and films; all of who are very talented and eager to work. Incidentally, we shoot in Spanish and English.
Previous work
This is our second film, the first one, “ Amanecidos”, was filmed on an improvised schedule in the course of two years with a group of actors and a technical team of just two people. Once the film was finished and edited, we managed to get professionals of the film industry such as Fernando León de Aranoa, Enrique Urbizu, Albert Serra or Antonio Cuadri to watch it, with very positive feedback. The producer Luis Miñarro became interested in the film and the matter is now in his hands. In October we´ll mark the beginning of the festival season competing at the Panorama section of the Cinespaña festival in Toulouse, France. And we will be in more festivals shortly...
And now...
For our second film, we wish to maintain our independence from restricting calendars imposed by funds or subsidies that in the best of cases would allow us to start shooting only in summer 2012. We wanted to start shooting immediately and that´s what we´re doing. With a few savings we have been able to complete the first block of sequences, but there are two blocks left for which we need more money.

Somos Yonay Boix y Pol Aregall, director y director de fotografía respectivamente. Rodamos nuestra primera película juntos, "Amanecidos" desde junio de 2008 hasta septiembre de 2010. Ahora la presentamos en los festivales y vamos a por la segunda. Estudiamos en el CECC (Centre d´Estudis Cinematogràfics de Catalunya) durante 2022-2005, y fuimos premiados con la dirección de un cortometraje de fin de carrera en 35mm). Además de nuestras películas, tenemos experiencia en la realización de vídeos musicales, lip dubs, vídeos institucionales para diversas organizaciones y hemos trabajado en más de 20 rodajes profesionales tanto de series como largometrajes, haciendo incursiones en 3D (Torrente 4 y XP3D). --------------------------------------------------- [ENG] We are Yonay Boix and Pol Aregall, director and director of photography, respectively. We filmed our first movie together from June 2008 to September 2010. At the moment, the first film, " Amanecidos", is competing in various film festivals and we are pursuing our second film. We studied together in CECC ( Centre of Cinematography studies of Catalunya) from 2002 to 2005 at the end of which we were awarded a prize for the direction of a 35mm short film. Apart from our films, we have experience in directing and producing video clips, lip dubs, institutional videos for various organizations and have worked in over 20 professional films, TV series, some even in 3D ( Torrente 4 and XP3D amongst others).
